Sol's theory is that life can metaphorically,
spiritually and physically be created or recreated in any controlled
environment. Much like contemporary scientists discovering new worlds
through microscopes or astronomers through telescopes, she uses extreme
scale magnification to create existence beyo nd her immediate realm.
Sol gathers ordinary organic objects and recreates the objects in a
"hyper" realistic vision of their original existence. She
constructs new worlds, inventing imaginary landscapes by juxtaposing
images of hands, vegetables, sand and rocks.
